Electronic, trip-hop musician: Since its inception, Telepath has been a continuously evolving musical organism, and no more so is this fact manifested than on the new album “Crush”. For his 3rd studio release, producer/multi-instrumentalist Michael Christie recruited singers from around the world to craft songs that are vocally-based and hook-laden, while still retaining Telepath’s trademark “reworld” sound. Telephatic is a new band out of Philadelphia fronted by members of the now defunct Bleeding Rainbow, who released their excellent final full-length Interrupt over a year ago. Rob Garcia and Sarah Everton’s new project doesn’t sound like their old band, but that distinct Philly edge is still audible .

Telepathe (pronounced Telepathy) is a Brooklyn, New York based experimental noise pop group, who focus on digital percussion and electronica. The group was initially formed in 2004 as an aside for Busy Gangnes (from prog-punk experimentalists Wikkid) and Melissa Livaudais (fellow Wikkid and First Nation guitarist) In 2007, they released Farewell Forest EP and Sinister Militia 12" through the Social Registry label.
