Şebnem Paker was born in İstanbul, Turkey. Beginning from 1980, she began to have ballet education for seven years. She started to have guitar lessons when she was at secondary school. In 1992, she started going to Haydarpaşa Super High School. At the same year she suceeded at the exams and had trained for four years at the İstanbul State Conservatory Classical Guitar Section. Şebnem Ferah (born 12th April 1972) is a Turkish singer and song-writer. She was the lead vocalist of the all-female hard rock band Volvox (TR) until 1994, after which she went on to pursue a solo career. Her musical style varies from acoustic rock to hard rock, though her later albums have progressively incorporated more of the hard rock sound.
