Before The Locust, before The Swing Kids, before Bread & Circuits there was a very young band from San Diego called Struggle. They were an energetic band that played brutal political hardcore that was powered by anger and youthful angst. The early Struggle sound was heavily influenced by Downcast and Rorschach, and this first release was a powerful explosion of high energy hardcore. Furious and aggressive. There is more than one artist with this name. 1) Brice Randall Bickford has been releasing lyric-driven, cerebral pop as The Strugglers since 2001. His most recent album, The Latest Rights, was put out by the European indie imprint Acuarela Discos in 2008. 1) Endless Struggle is a punk band out of Salt Lake City, Utah. They originally formed in 1995 after Magoo left the band Total Chaos. Returning to Utah, Magoo enlisted Bobby to sing vocals, Greg to play bass, and T-Roy to play drums. After two shows, they added Jesse on second guitar.
