Tayo is a familiar face on the breaks scene where he can safely lay claim to helping shape the nu skool sound in the late 90's alongside fellow breaksters Adam Freeland and Rennie Pilgrem, who together promoted the genre forming Friction parties at Bar Rhumba & The End. Was a result of collaboration between Tayo Popoola [Tayo] and Matthew Buggins [Acid Rockers] 2001. Tayo mainly produced breakbeat tracks (later more dubstep, tech-house) while Matthew Buggins, known throughout mid-90's as 'Bass Culture' and 'Quark'; was more oriented on electro like psybreaks, tech-house and so on.. TMARU's most famous track 'Crafty Youth' appeared on 'Wipeout Pure' OST released for Sony PlayStation Portable 2005 among: Aphex Twin, Paul Hartnoll (Orbital) and LFO. .
