The Guess Who is a rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba that was one of the first Canadian groups to establish a major successful following both in their own country as well as abroad. Guess Why a Polish band was formed in September 1993 in Buk near Poznań by: Przemysław 'Perła' Wejmann (guitar, vocals, lyrics) and Roman 'Kostek' Kostrzewski (drums), both playing in a metal band Repostor at the same time. A few days later two other musicians joined the newly formed band: Paweł 'Paulus' Czubek from Delirium Tremens (bass) and Piotr 'Piciu' Przybylski (keyboards, back-up vocals). Wafts of Voodoo Techno, stabs of electro blues, inner space sci-fi effects and thick synth melodies coming on like tar flavoured honey. The twisted noir-pop of the Guessmen confounds expectations. Their recent album "Back From The Bins" has been hailed as a masterpiece by some and un-listenable by those of a delicate disposition.
