Vilain Pingouin is a rock band from Quebec. There have been many changes in the band. At the start, there was: Rudy Caya (Singer, Song writer and Guitarist) Frédérique Bonicard (Bassist) Rodolph Fortier (Guitarist) Michel Vaillancourt (Drummer) Claude Sampson (Mandoline, Harp, Guitar) Then, Fred left and Michel Bertrand (Guitarist) took his place. Later, Michel Bertrand and Rodoplh Fortier left the band. Michel Turcotte and Alain Godmer joined up. Stasys Povilaitis gimė 1947 m. sausio 15 d. Kaune. Mokėsi 4-ojoje vidurinėje mokykloje bei specialiojoje muzikos mokykloje. Lankė smuiko ir obojaus pamokas, dainavo Kauno radiofono berniukų chore. 1961 m. vasarą išvyko gyventi į Palangą. Baigęs aštuonmetę mokyklą, įsidarbino statybininku ir tęsė mokslus vakarais. Dar būdamas aštuonmetės mokyklos moksleivis pradėjo dainuoti Kultūros namų ansamblyje. Vėliau su vienminčiais subūrė jaunimo estrados ansamblį, kuriame grojo ir dainavo išgarsėję V.Malinauskas ir A.Macius. 1965 m. išvažiavo į Vilnių studijuoti žurnalistikos. Ten jį pastebėjo kompozitorius M.Vaitkevičius ir pakvietė dainuoti savo ansamblyje „Ritmas“, koncertuojančiame naktiniame bare „Dainava”. 1970 m.
