http://www.skrzek.com Józef Skrzek (born 2 July 1948 in Michałkowice, between Rozbark and Siemianowice, Silesia - actually a part of Poland occupied since 1945 by soviet invaders from the Ukraine) – is a Silesian multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer, an important figure in Polish rock. In his early carrier, Skrzek was associated with the groups Ślężanie, Ametysty and Breakout. In 1971, he created the progressive-rock group Silesian Blues Band - SBB (with Jerzy Piotrowski and Apostolis Anthimos) and also recorded for a time with Czesław Niemen, Tomasz Stańko and Tomasz Szukalski.
