Kryhitka is Ukrainian band formed in 2007 in Kyiv, Ukraine by members of popular band “Kryhitka Тsahes” singer-songwriter Kasha Saltsova and Mykola Matkovsky while their band took a break after their guitarist’s death of cancer. At the moment Kryhitka names among their key influences the old grunge and trip-hop bands and variety of contemporary artist from Black Keys to Antony and the Johnsons – “we are addicted to the radio podcasts and LastFm”. In the debut album Kryhitka combines noisy melodramatic anthems with sarcastic post-punk tracks and soft semi-acoustic love-songs. Krykhitka Tsakhes (Ukrainian: Крихітка Цахес) is a Ukrainian rock band formed in 1999 in Kyiv, Ukraine. The band performed pop-rock, soft-rock and trip hop music styles. Band activity was suspended in 2007 after their guitarist’s death of cancer. Same year Oleksandra and Mykola formed new band called Kryhitka (Ukrainian: Крихітка).
