Base Ball Bear (ベースボールベアー), 2002 yılında kurulan dört kişilik bir Japon rock grubu'dur. Band'ın kurulduğunda adı Planet'di. Koide, Japon şarkıcı Chocolat'ın (ショコラ, shokora) "Base Ball and Elvis Presley" adlı şarkısından esinlenerek grubun adının "Base Ball" olmasını kararlaştırdı. Yuasa buna bir kelime daha katarlarsa daha güzel olabileceğini düşündü ve grup üyelerininde onayıyla "Base Ball" kelimesinin sonuna "Bear" kelimesi eklendi.
