U.T.I. can refer to one of four groups of musicians. The first (chronologically) is a late 80's hardcore punk band from San Juan Capistrano, CA who released one self-titled 7" in 1987 and were on the "South Orange County's Trail of Destruction" compilation along with Gadnium, Violation, Against The Grain, The Bullies and Johnny Monster and the Nightmares.
