San Diego's The Stereotypes, formed in 2001 by John Finkbiner(vocals) and Mike Kamoo(guitar), have a classic sound that mines late-60's jangly psych-pop, indie-garage-rock, and 80's alternative with a post-punk D.I.Y. aesthetic. The band, which also includes Dante Conti(guitar), Tim Hines(bass), Steve Blake(keyboards) and Charlie Mcree(drums), released it's first EP(1-red) to much critical acclaim. Stereotypical Working Class est né en 1999 dans les alentours de Lyon. Les jeunes zicos aiment le rock, de Incubus à Deftones en passant par Staind. Dans le genre bonnes influences, on a fait pire, n'est-ce pas ? Très vite, le groupe se compose un répertoire, ce qui permet au groupe d'enregistrer une démo 12 titres (!) en 2001. Stefan Mörth, known as Stereotyp, is a producer of club music who spends most of his time in the studio, touring seldom. He resides in Vienna, Austria, and travels often to New York City. Stereotyp's music is generally bass-heavy, and reaches into dancehall, hip-hop and soul genres. His collaborators have included Al Haca; Cappadonna, of Wu Tang Clan; Daddy Freddy; Hubert Tubbs, of Tower of Power; Lady Saw; Hawk Eye; Ras B; and Spectacular. .

Ermak Gordey aka Stereotype was born in 1989, in Chernigov (Ukraine). Since 2009 Stereotype's sound moved to deep/minimal dnb. In 2009 he formed project called "Science Fiction" together with Moscow neurofunk producer Paperclip. Nowadays Stereotype has supports from many labels, producers and dj's all over the world. .
