"die perlen" were founded in spring 2000. The early songs were arranged with the old Atari that is still used on stage today. Some of the tracks were quite succesful at mp3-websites, and so "die perlen" produced within the following years 4 Demo-CDRs which they sold at their homepage. Gradually they became more popular and in the year 2004 they didn't want to produce CDRs any longer, so they decided to make a "real" CD. 6 tracks were on the EP "gedankenzüge", p.e. Glasperlenspiel, named after the novel "Das Glasperlenspiel" by Hermann Hesse, is a German Electro Pop Duo from Stockach am Bodensee (Baden-Württemberg). Formed in 2010 by Carolin Niemczyk (*1990 in Singen/Hohentwiel) and Daniel Grunenberg (*November 8, 1988 in Stockach). Their debut single "Echt" was released on September 9, 2011 and their debut album "Beweg dich mit mir" followed on September 30, 2011. Glasperlenspiel participated on September 29, 2011 at the Bundesvision Song Contest 2011 and reached the 4th place with Echt.
