Obsidian Sky is a four-piece American Metal band from Atlanta, GA.

The group's first release 'Daydreams and Nightmares was released worldwide on June 07 2011 via Redglare Records.

“The hard hitting ‘Parasites’ and the more versatile ‘Sirens’ (both tracks from their ‘Daydreams and Nightmares’ offering ) show Obsidian Sky’s penchant for taking a tight, speed-chugging, power-groove and introducing to it all manner of constantly evolving precision guitar licks. Their adept usage of the well placed time-change to smash the mix wide open and give some room for the music to breathe makes for compelling listening. A full length album is earmarked for early 2012 but in the meantime the shorter format ‘Daydreams and Nightmares’ gets its release on 7th June.”
