Anselmo Crew is itself movement.

Movement, as if you try to squeeze it into a musical category, you will definitely run into problems. They successfully combine the traditional musical elements of different continents - Balkan, Latin-American, Anatolian, African-with typical urban genres such as hip-hop, drum’n’bass, salsa, funk, reggae. The mixture of all these components yields a unique, rarely heard, spontaneous dance music.

Movement appears in the life of the musicians as well; all members of the band are roving musicians, who have already visited almost all countries of the world. They have brought with themselves the musical experience that impressed them during their journeys. Anselmo Crew is the collection of all these impressions.

Movement is physically present in Anselmo Crew: dance starts out from the stage at the concerts, and it quickly spreads to the audience.

Anselmo Crew has been already called a dance music blender, Urban World Music Dance Band, still it can be best described as a concert band — in the most positive sense of the word. Only those know what I mean who has ever seen the band live.

The band is a regular visitor of the biggest festivals in Hungary and had many concerts and many towns of the countryside.

The band is playful and strictly organised at the same time. It is a group of highly-qualified, experienced and joyful musicians. All the members joined the group with some years of professional.

Their first record, Passport, bitte….! (2004) was followed by a maxi CD in 2005, entitled: Only for promo.
Anselmo Crew is the Hungarian speciality of music – the band, that represents Hungary at Popkomm by itself.
