Punya Srinivas (Tamil: புண்ணியா ஶ்ரீனிவாஸ்) is a professional vainika and vocalist.

She was initiated into music from the age of 6 by Smt.Jayalakshmi from the Music Academy and was later on trained in Veena from Vidushi Smt. Kamala Aswathama, the mother of renowned vainika E. Gayathri. She is currently pursuing the advanced aspects of Carnatic music from Sangeetha Kala Acharya Suguna Varadachari. She was also exposed to Western classical music by Dr Augustine Paul. Her husband, D. A. Srinivas is a talented mridangam player who usually accompanies her in her concerts.

The song "Melle Melle" in the biggie-flick of Mohanlal, Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded seems to have given a wider exposure.

Punya srinivas ambition to tag veena as a unlimited instrument extended her in working hard to achieve producing original western scores on the traditional Indian classical instrument, which is known for its gamaka system, is widely appreciated. She recently performed Bach Double violin concerto with violin maestro V.S.Narasimhan at Chennai to a packed house.This is first of its kind on veena.
