The Scrub are a 7 piece Ska Outfit from Bristol, UK. The Band have been building a strong local following around the West Country for a couple of years now. Since bringing their sounds to the nation they have notched up support slots with the likes of RX Bandits, Shootin Goon, Fishbone, Fierce, The Toasters, The Planet Smashers, Mustard Plug, Lightyear, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Roni Size, Zion Train, The Depature, Pietasters, Long Beach Dub Allstars (ex-sublime) , The Selector & King Prawn and appeared on stages and festival bills such as Shambala, Ashton Court and The 100's Club.

The band self-released their debut CD EP, titled "Nantastico" in 2002 & followed this up in 2003 with another self-released CD EP titled "Not To Be Confused With Spunky Rub.com", with both EPs selling out. The Scrub play a highly addictive & uniquely dark take on the old skool 2 tone ska formula, with moderate lashings of hip hop & skacore thrown in for good measure.

Their EP, "Lifes Torn The Tuna Out And Left Me For A Bread Roll", was released by Do The Dog Music in February 2005 to coincide with the band heading off around the UK for touring.

A 7" vinyl containing new material is set to be released around April 2007. A UK tour is expected to follow after the release. .
