androp在2008年以主唱内澤崇仁為中心正式成立。成立初期，關於androp在網路上查得到的，只有Logo、團名和在myspace上的音樂，就靠著這出色的音樂，也有越來越多人開始討論起這個神祕的樂團。許多人第一次聽他們的音樂覺得他們和"RADWIMPS"很像。 他們的音樂也征服了東京J-WAVE電台專門介紹獨立音樂和新樂團的節目"Tokyo REAL-EYES"的DJ，androp的音樂讓這個節目如同中毒一般一連撥了35個禮拜，這支成軍不到一年的時間的樂團，成為了日本獨立音樂界的一個話題。樂團的myspace的瀏覽人數也超過了30萬人次。 同年8月，androp以沒有發行任何正式音樂作品的情況下登上了summer sonic的舞台。一直到12月，androp才發行了他們的第一張作品「anew」，2010年12月，樂團轉入華納唱片旗下的廠牌"unBORDE"，正式主流出道。不過即使如此，androp依然保持一貫的神秘，不但鮮少在媒體上曝光，連live的場次都非常少。2011年5月的一場live上，進行到最後的安可階段，觀眾席中傳出"請自我介紹"的呼聲，樂團才進行了樂團成立以來的首度自我介紹，許多樂迷追隨了他們超過兩年的時間才知道除了主唱内澤以外團員的姓氏，之後樂團才在官網上公開了團員的全名。 .

Drip Drop, AKA Alastair Winston is a sample based mash-up artist from Austin, Texas. He first began creating mash-ups and remixes at the beginning of his freshman year of college. His first album Minor In Possession, released in May of 2010, was the result of his first six months of creating mash-ups. The album quickly gained popularity with hundreds of downloads within the first week which led to multiple live performances.
