The Rainbows were a group started in high school in Washington, D.C. They were a hot group in local talent shows and parties. Members of the group were Jessie Belvin, Billy Stewart and Marvin Gaye. There song Mary Lee was the first fast tempo of the "Doo Wop" rhythm and blues. Bows is actually a side project of Luke Sutherland, who was the singer/songwriter of the Scottish band, Long Fin Killie. Over the course of three albums, Sutherland performed music in a similar vein as groups like Baxter and Everything But The Girl - often blending elements of drum n bass with soft, melodic singing. Pawel Grabowski is a multi-instrumentalist musicial & composer, born 1977. He started working with music in the late 90's. In 1998 he formed MiastoNieSpalo, a chamber music trio, working with ambient music, using only acoustic instruments: cello, accordion & double-bass.
