In September 2004 Mark Rossi (Guitar), Greg Bailey (Vocals), Urs Müller (Bass) and Andy “The Animal” Gantenbein (Drums) formed the band and two weeks later they already had their first gig. After the demo version “Feed the Public” and the live bootleg “Live at C4 – the official bootleg” they released their first studio album in November 2005. Tribalistas auch bekannt als Os Tribalistas ist eine brasilianische Band der Stilrichtung Música Popular Brasileira. Mitglieder sind die berühmten brasilianischen Musiker Arnaldo Antunes, Carlinhos Brown und Marisa Monte. Geschichte Die drei Musiker hatten schon seit Mitte der Neunziger Jahre des öfteren zusammengearbeitet. Im März 2001 trafen sie anlässlich der Einspielung eines Albums von Arnaldo Antunes zusammen. Am Rande der Aufnahmen entstand die Idee der Einspielung eines gemeinsamen Albums. Im April 2002 trafen sich die drei dann zur Aufnahme dieses Albums im Haus von Marisa Monte, die das Album auch produzierte. In nur drei Wochen entstanden dreizehn Songs.
