The Evpatoria Report ist eine instrumentale Schweizer Post-Rock-Combo aus Genf, gegründet im Januar 2002. Der Name leitet sich ab von einem wissenschaftlichen Projekt zur Suche nach außerirdischem Leben. In der Stadt Jewpatorija auf der Krim befinden sich Meßstationen der ukrainischen Weltraumbehörde und ein Radioteleskop, das menschliche Botschaften ins All sendet (Evpatoria-Messages). Mitglieder der Band sind: Laurent Quint (Gitarre), Simon (Gitarre), Dilo (Bass), Fabrice Barney (Drums) und Daniel Bacsinszky (Violine und Keyboard). Der Veröffentlichung der ersten EP "The Evpatoria Report" (2003) folgten die Alben "Golevka" (2005) und "Maar" (2008). Live spielten sie unter anderem mit den Red Sparowes, Calexico und Mono....
