There are 2 (two) Junkos: 1. 'Junko' is the solo nome de plume for Junko Hiroshige, who is also vocalist/instrumentalist for the seminal Japanese noise band Hijokaidan. Junko's solo and collaborative work is characterised by her distinctive high pitched, screaming voice. Junko has released a handful of records under her own name. These include Sleeping Beauty (2002), a solo project that showcases Junko's voice a cappella, with no accompanying instrumentation. There are at least 2 bands named White Rabbit. Early Days. White Rabbit were formed in Huyton, suburb of Liverpool around 2001/2002. They formed out of the ashes of what were to become known as 'hell jams', featuring such local music legends as James Connor (vocals), Owen Murphy (drums), and Thomas Kenny (bass). Local Rabbits were a Canadian alternative rock band, active in the 1990s and early 2000s. Based in Montreal, the band consisted of vocalists and guitarists Peter Elkas and Ben Gunning, bassist Ryan Myshrall and drummer Jay Tustin. They released two albums on Murderecords before signing to Halifax indie label Brobdingnagian for their third and final album. Their second album, Basic Concept, reached #1 on the Canadian campus radio charts in 1998.
