Tolga Katas (born June 5, 1966 in Istanbul, Turkey) began his career as a rock singer, then left the spotlight to become a behind-the-scenes independent record producer and promoter. Tolga produced and promoted several multi-platinum artists through his record labels Futura and Summit Entertainment, and contributed significantly to the sales of over 50 million records.[1] He won the BMI Song of the Year Award for Sending All My Love and was nominated for the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Tolga ÇANDAR 1959 yılında Muğla’nın Milas ilçesinde doğdu. İlk, orta ve lise öğrenimini Milas’ta tamamladıktan sonra Ankara’ya, Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi’ne gitti. ODTÜ Mühendislik Fakültesi İnşaat Bölümü’nde öğrenim gören Çandar, tiyatro çalışmaları için ODTÜ Oyuncuları’na, halk müziği çalışmaları için de Türk Halk Bilimleri Topluluğu’na devam etti. Üniversitenin üçüncü sınıfında iken, üç arkadaşı ile birlikte kurdukları ÇAĞDAŞ TÜRKÜ topluluğu adı altında ilk albümleri olan"Bekle Beni"yi yaptılar.
