Volumes gründete sich im Januar 2009 in Californien. Die Band ist eine Vereinigung von Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rap, Metal, Hardcore, Classical, Rock, und Funk Musikern, die sich durch ihre gemeinsame Liebe zur Musik fanden. Ihr selbst gestelltes Ziel ist es das Metal Genre mit einen frischen Sound zu bereichern. Die auf MySpace aufgeführten Songs wurden alle von der Band selbst geschrieben, aufgenommen, gemixt und produziert. .

Massimo Ranieri (* 3. Mai 1951 in Neapel) ist ein italienischer Sänger und Schauspieler. Bekanntheit erreichte er 1988, als er mit dem Lied "Perdere l'amore" das Sanremo-Festival gewann. 1971 vertrat er Italien beim Eurovision Song Contest 1971 mit dem Lied "L'amore è un attimo". Er erreichte Platz 5. 2008 erhielt er vom italienischen Staatspräsidenten Giorgio Napolitano die Auszeichnung "Premio Vittorio de Sica" in der Sparte "Theater". .
