Born in the States, Oli Stewart AKA Casbah 73, grew up in Madrid, where he developed a passion for music from an early age. He moved to Glasgow in the late '80s coinciding with the explosion of Rare Groove, Chicago House and the whole warehouse scene. JD73 (short for JazzDoctor73) is the brainchild of Leeds based producer and multi-instrumentalist Dan Goldman. Dan has worked playing keys with many of the worlds top artists including spending 7 years on the road and in the studio with Morcheeba (and co-writing 3 tunes for their Dive Deep album).
