Ellen Kristjansdottir is an Icelandic singer. Born in San Fransisco, living in Reykjavik Iceland from age 7. Ellen has released 3 CDs in her name, 2 with her group Komboid and 3 with vocal trio Borgardaetur as well as appearing as a guest on records with many Icelandic artists. Her 2004 album Salmar won the Icelandic music award as album of the year. She has since relaesed 2 CDs to critical acclaim, the latest one, Draumey (2009), contains all original material by Ellen.
