Lightning se forman a principio de los años 90 siendo asi parte de una importante generación de bandas de metal extremo del sur de España como Necrophiliac, Infestus o Spontaneous Combustion. La banda grabó su primera demo-tape autoproducida en el año 1992. Pese a no contar con muchos medios y un sonido no demasiado logrado, Lightning se sirven de esta "Promo´92" para empezar a darse a conocer dentro de la escena underground del país. Kenyon Hopkins (January 15, 1912 – April 7, 1983) was an American composer who composed many film scores in a jazz idiom. Although he has been neglected in recent years, he was once called "one of jazz's great composers and arrangers". Hopkins also composed various works, including Symphony Number 1 and Number 2, chamber music and the jazz ballet "Rooms" for Anna Sokolow.
