Matto writes electronic music based through the idea of using minimal technology. Most songs are written using a synth run through a sampler where they are then constructed, filtered and arranged. Songs are often long and dark peices with few vocal samples - Matto once used a pair of headphones to record the vocals for 'Easy to Hate'. .

Finnish guru, THE MATTOID, is a bonafide mondo-bizarro rocker of Music City's vibrant and overflowing independent music scene. A self described comedian, he often refers to his work as "polka business." Often polarizing and always provoking, he has been described as hilarious, irreverent, rockin, scary, sweet, intimidating, loud, serious, aloof, clever, catchy, stupid, near and dear and way WAY out there. Tutto Matto is an Italian electronic disco-funk duo created by DJs and Producers Jurij Prette and Paolo Guglielmino. They started making music together when Jurij Prette walked into Paolo Guglielmino's house to find a shelf-bending collection of around 20,000 records, running from rare groove to Afro-disco to obscure exotica and missing out very little in between. Cibo Matto est un duo de musiciennes new-yorkaises d'origine japonaise, Miho Hatori (chant) et Yuka Honda (claviers, sampler).
