Pop. 1280 are a cyberpunk band from New York City. The Grid is their first 12" release. Members include: Chris Bug, Ivan Lip, John Skultrane, and Andrew S. They got together in 2009 and have released two 7" records, the most recent being a self-released single and split 7" with Philadelphia's Hot Guts.

El grupo se formó en Perú la ciudad de Trujillo en el año 1994, para ser exactos en Julio, entonces la formación era la siguiente Guillermo Schemiel en la voz, Esteban Gayoso en la guitarra, Benjamín Gayoso en el bajo y Luis D´angelo en la batería.
En esa época en Trujillo no existía ningún grupo de rock que tocara música propia, ósea canciones escritas por sus mismos integrantes. Obviamente la razón de ser de Campo de Almas era componer sus propias canciones.
