Né à Brisbane, en Australie, le duo Savage Garden formé par Darren Hayes (chanteur, parolier) et Daniel Jones (mélodiste, instrumentaliste), a créé une partie des titres les plus connus dans les années 90-2000. Parmi ceux-ci, notons leur ballade connue mondialement, "Truly Madly Deeply", mais aussi "I knew I loved you" et leurs chansons un peu plus rythmées, telles que "I Want You" ou "The Animal Song", composée pour une bande originale d'un film Disney.
