Arctica are primarily Kim Stanley and Lloyd Cox. They record songs made up on the spot, with a microphone hanging from a lightbulb in a 100% improvised fashion. Nothing is taken away or censored and what you hear was completely created in the moment with no beforehand thought or writing. Sonata Arctica est un groupe finlandais de heavy metal mélodique, né en 1996 à Kemi. Le groupe a d'abord été baptisé "Tricky Beans", puis "Tricky Means", noms sous lesquels il a enregistré ses premières démos . Le nom "Sonata Arctica" a finalement été adopté en 1999.
