The story of Star Fucking Hipsters begins in 2004, when world renowned ska-punks Leftöver Crack were about to head out on their annual European tour and singer/guitarist Sturgeon & then current LoC drummer Brandon Chevalier-Kolling started planning a new band for the new year which included writing a jump off track eventually documented with LoC when the band entered the BBCs world-famous Maida Vale studio to record several songs for the UK’s Radio 1 program “The Lock Up.” at the end of said tour. That extra new track penned by Sturg & Brandon (eventually titled “Look Who’s Talking Now!”) marked...

1. a female fronted rock/pop band from Orlando, Florida. In 2003, they released their debut album "Casualties of Uncertainty".
2. an all-girl punk band from Japan. In 2009, they released their debut album "Tres Chicas Punks" on Waterslide records (Japan).
3.Garage rock band from Russia. On 13 may 2010 lead drummer Philip Gorbachev announced that he was leaving Upstairs and disbanding it. .
The Capstan Shafts is the musical project of Vermont native Dean Wells. Renowned for his prolific output, Wells is a musical Bukowski, with songs like the old drunk's short stories: low on length and conventional form, but highly literary and extremely satisfying.
His albums have been released through a number of labels, including Kittridge, Asaurus Records, Abandoned Love Records, Fall of the West Records, Yellow Mica Recordings. His newest release is a part-compilation album through Rainbow Quartz Records. Euridice Proudhon, released last year by Kittridge, was the first album of the Shafts released in a jewel case.
