Kaskade was born in 1972 in Chicago, Illinois. Releasing his first single "What I Say" on the label in 2001. In the Moment saw Kaskade's first top 10 single . He actually took his name from a nature book when he saw a picture of a waterfall and a co-worker agreed "cascade" was a good choice, but Kaskade then changed the spelling. Askatasuna are a ska-punk band from San Jose, Costa Rica. It started as a Garage band formed by Alonso Rodriguez (Guitar), Cesar Bustos (Bass) and David Ortiz (Drums)who met each other on weekends to play covers from their favourite latin punk bands such as 2 minutos and Attaque 77, they called this garage band "La trama" As soon as they found another guitarist and a vocalist they started writing their own lyrics, and called this new project "Askatasuna" which resembles Freedom in a basque word. Vaska Ilieva (Macedonian: Васка Илиева) (February 21, 1923 – May 4, 2001) was a leading folk singer from Republic of Macedonia. She started her career as a dancer and singer in the State Ensemble Tanec in the early 1950s.
