根本潤（ギターと歌）、根本歩（Drums）、魚頭圭（Guitar）在籍。森 暁夫（bass）を含む４人編成。 根本潤が「ギターも弾きながら歌いたい（SWIPEの時点で曲をギターで作っていたこともあり）」と言い、SWIPEのギター（魚頭でない方）が就職のため脱退したこともあり、 新しいベーシストを迎え結成。バンド名はイギリスのthe smithsの曲から取った。根本 潤１人が当時the smithsの音楽と歌詞に深く影響を受けていたことによる。 このバンドから少しずつ日本語で歌詞を作るようになった。音楽性も魚頭が作曲することにより、より焦点の定まった「新しいハードコア・ロック」となる。 自分達のレーベル"grok plastique"を立ち上げるも、自分のバンド作品しか出していない。流通会社を通さないで、直接コンタクトが取れる店鋪、 会社にしか卸さないポリシーがある。精力的に全国（北は札幌、南は熊本）でライブを行った。 共演した主なバンド：(JAPANESE) envy、NINE DAYS WONDER、kulara / (Foreign countries) 400years (U.S.A)、WITH LOVE (Italy)、MILEMARKER (U.S.A)、ENGINE DOWN (U.S.A) .
