Jocasta were Tim Arnold (Vocals, Guitar and Piano), Jack Reynolds (Lead Guitar), Adrian Meehan (Drums) and Andy Lewis (Bass). They formed whilst Arnold and Reynolds were still at school in the early nineties, but became what you might call professional in 1995 when all four members of the band moved to London and after doing six gigs (the last of which included a string section). By 1995, Jocasta had signed a worldwide record deal with Sony. They were signed by the then titled subdivision of Sony ‘LRD’ or ‘Licensing Repertoire Division’. One of the best things to not-quite-happen to Scottish music; Jocasta Sleeps were a Glasgow based band who played an amazing melody of indie rock with amazing harmonies and beautiful melodies. Extremely talented musicians to a man, it's a shame they broke up. .
