Susan Janet Ballion, professionally known as Siouxsie Sioux, is a British singer and lyricist born in London on May 27, 1957. Before she started her solo career in 2004, Siouxsie was the lead singer of the influential band Siouxsie and the Banshees (formed in 1976) and its splinter group The Creatures (formed in 1981). Her first solo album Mantaray was released in 2007 to critical acclaim. It includes the tracks the pop single "About to happen", the ballad "If it doesn't kill you" and the classic "They Follow you". .
