ギターウルフ (GuitarWolf) は、1987年に結成された日本のスリーピース・ロックバンド。所属レコード会社はキューンレコード。 彼らの楽曲は、ロック、ガレージ・ロック、パンク・ロックから影響を受けている。また、彼らのパフォーマンスや、メンバーのセイジが多大な影響を受けた人物の1人、ジョーン・ジェット（元ランナウェイズ）にちなんで、自らの音楽を「ジェット・ロックンロール」と呼ぶこともある。 トレードマークは革ジャン、皮パン、サングラス。セイジ以外のメンバーの髪型はリーゼントである。 ラモーンズを敬愛しており、ライブ前には、ラモーンズの曲がよく流されている。 曲のスタイルはアルバムによって微妙にタッチは異なるが、一貫して3コードを基本としたシンプルな楽曲を展開。レコーディングは一斉録り（全員で一緒に演奏して、録音する方法）、一発録り以外はしない。セイジはレコーディング中でも、アンプからジャンプするなど、音よりもその場のエネルギーもまとめて収録したい、という思いがある。その姿勢はライブでも顕著に表れており、アンプは大音量を流し、曲の大半はCDよりさらに速く、粗くなる。客の頭の上に仁王立ちしながら演奏したり、ギターの弦が切れても気にせず飛び跳ね回るなど、過激なライブパフォーマンスを展開する。演奏技術は決して高くはないが、技術云々ではない圧倒的なエネルギーを放っている。 日本よりも海外でのリリースが早かったためか、アメリカやヨーロッパでの一般的な評価は日本国内のそれよりも高い。だが、アルバム『DEAD ROCK』リリース時には、紙媒体でのインタビュー等、プロモーション活動も行っている。 ビリー存命時は、作詞作曲のほとんどをセイジが担当していたが、一部の楽曲はビリーが作詞しボーカルを務めていた。UG加入後は、作詞作曲、ボーカル全てをセイジが担当している。 .
