bloodthirsty butchers（ブラッドサースティー・ブッチャーズ）は、日本のロックバンド。 通称『ブッチャーズ』。 メンバー 吉村秀樹（ボーカル、ギター） 射守矢雄（ベース） 小松正宏（ドラム） 田渕ひさ子（ギター） 概要・来歴 1987年、北海道留萌工業高等学校の同級生である吉村秀樹と射守矢雄、北海道留萌高等学校出身で1期下の佐野紀代己によりに結成。前身のバンドは畜生で、この3人に加え上原子友康（怒髪天 ）が在籍していた。 1989年、佐野が脱退し、入れ替わる形で後輩の小松正宏が加入。2003年に田渕ひさ子（toddle ・元NUMBER GIRL ）が加入し四人編成となる。 結成から札幌市を拠点にたびたび上京してライブ活動を行なっていたが、1991年11月のFugazi 初来日での共演を機に東京に拠点を移す。 上京後には1993年と1994年にアメリカツアーを敢行、アメリカ北西部のインディーロックの中心の一つであるオリンピア・YoYoレコード主催のインディーフェスYoYo a Go Goに二回(1994,1997)参加するなどした。 留萌高校の掟ポルシェ（ロマンポルシェ。 ）、上原子友康とは同時期に在学して、お互いに刺激し合ったという。 批評家や国内外においてミュージシャン人気が高く、それを示すように早い時期にトリビュート盤がメジャー、インディーズからそれぞれ発売されている。過去共演した海外アーティストとしてFugazi （３回の来日すべて）、Rocket from the Crypt 、Beck 、The Flaming Lips 、Rage Against the Machine 、J Mascis（Dinosaur Jr.）がいる。フジ・ロック・フェスティバル等、フェスティバルへも毎年のように参加している常連である。 .
