キャロライン（Caroline、1981年1月9日 - ）は、日本出身のエレクトロニカアーティスト・シンガーソングライター。本名はCaroline Lufkin（キャロライン・ラフキン）。沖縄県出身。ポストロックバンドマイス・パレードの現メンバーでもある。 姉はシンガーソングライターのOLIVIA。 2004年にMySpaceにアップした「Where’s My Love?」がNYの優良インディー・レーベルTemporary Residenceの耳に留まり、契約。2006年にリリースされた1stアルバム『Murmurs』は、透明感溢れる歌声と幻想的かつ温かみのあるサウンドが各方面から高く評価される。2007年にMice Paradeのヴォーカルに抜擢され、現在もツアーとレコーディングメンバーとして活躍中。５年ぶりとなる待望の最新作『Verdugo Hills』は、前作同様、丁寧に編み上げられたミニマルなエレクトロニカを基調としながら、オーガニックで温かみのあるトラックはさらに芳醇さを増し、天上の音楽とでも言うべき荘厳な美しさを湛えた傑作となった。 略歴 2003年、ボストンにあるバークリー音楽大学を卒業し、日本に移住。 2005年、1stシングル『Where's My Love?』を発売。 2006年、1stアルバム『Murmurs』発売。 .

LUNA SEA（ルナシー）は、日本のロックバンド。1989年に結成し、1992年メジャーデビュー。2000年に活動を休止したが、2010年に活動を再開した。 メンバー 　* RYUICHI（リュウイチ）：ボーカル 　* SUGIZO（スギゾー）：ギター&バイオリン 　* INORAN（イノラン）：ギター 　* J（ジェイ）：ベース 　* 真矢（シンヤ）： ドラムス&パーカッション 　メンバー全員が作詞・作曲を行い、初期の作品を除きクレジットは全て作詞・作曲：LUNA SEAとなっている。これは原曲となる曲を個人が作曲し、それを元にメンバー全員で作り込む（ジャム・セッション）という方法を取っているためである。また、権利を公平にするという意味もある。 　LUNA SEAには明確なリーダーが存在しない（一部でリーダーは最年長のSUGIZOと言われているが、本人は否定している）。意思決定は全員一致が原則で、ある提案に対し五人のうち一人でも嫌だと言えば、その案はボツになった。Jは「他のバンドさんの前に、五人がライバルだ」と語っている。 　LUNA SEAのファンを「SLAVE（スレイヴ）」と呼び、六番目のメンバーとしている。SLAVEはオフィシャルファンクラブの名称でもあり、ファンクラブ SLAVEはLUNA SEAが終幕した現在も活動している。 　RYUICHIは結成当時RAYLA（レイラ）、真矢はローマ字表記でSHINYAと名乗り活動していた。 　LUNA SEAとは「月と海」と言う意味である（LUNAはラテン語 SEAは英語）。インディーズ時代は狂気という意味のLUNACYと言うバンド名であった。メジャーでの活動を視野に入れた彼らは、一つの意味に縛られず、また、音楽的にも「深く」・「広く」という思いから、「～CY」箇所を「～SEA」にした「LUNA SEA」というバンド名に変更した。これはJの提案によるものである。 　2000年に発売されたアルバムには、初心に帰るという意味も込めて、旧バンド名である「LUNACY」という名が付けられている。 .
