Death Grips to trzyosobowa grupa pochodząca z Kaliforni, w skład której wchodzą raper Stefan Burnett (znany lepiej jako MC Ride), perkusista Zach Hill i Andy Morin (znany jako Flatlander). Projekt powstał 21 grudnia 2010 roku w Sacramento. Założyli go Zach i Stefan, którzy mieszkali na jednej ulicy.
