Catherines Cathedral was a Gothic Rock band in Sweden in the mid 1990's. According to their entry in the discogs database they had released three albums; Flowerdust (1993), Intoxication (1994), and Equilibrium (1995) (the last two being signed under the Noxious Records label). The Cathedrals (1963-1999) The Cathedral Trio was formed in 1963 as a ministry of Rex Humbard’s Cathedral Of Tomorrow in Akron, OH. Original members included Glen Payne, Danny Coker and Bobby Clark. British avant garde collective Vibracathedral Orchestra was formed in 1998 by Julian Bradley, Neil Campbell, Bridget Hayden, Adam Davenport and Michael Flower. The groups aesthetic is based on long-form drones coming straight out of the '60s tradition of eastern inspired rock and folk music exemplified in the musings of obscure hippie collective ensembles Third Ear Band, Hapshash & the Coloured Coat and Velvet Underground. The Winchester Cathedral Choir is an internationally recognized professional choir based at the Winchester Cathedral at Winchester in Hampshire. The choir currently consists of 18 boy choristers and 12 lay clerks and sings eight services weekly in the Cathedral. Sometimes the group augments their numbers when certain musical works require a larger number of voices. The group's choiristers all attend The Pilgrims' School where they study singing, music theory, music history, and at least one instrument in addition to general academic studies.
