There are at least 5 artists sharing this name: 1) Black metal band based in the North of Scotland. Formed in September 2003, the debut EP "From Lofty Peaks..." was released in February 2010. The following 4-way split with Phaleg, Diversis & Denizens was released in 2013. Another split with Edinburgh based masters of noise, Wraiths, will be released in Summer 2014. Vostok is heavily influenced by Scottish history, especially the period immediately preceding the the Highland Clearances through to the resulting Diaspora.
