There are multiple artists going by The Witnesses: 1. A mid to late 80s punk/garage/rock n roll band from San Francisco fronted by Dave Dick. A Witness were an alternative rock band formed in 1982 in Stockport, Cheshire, England, by Rick Aitken, Vince Hunt and a drum machine, in 1986 replaced by Alan Brown (ex Big Flame). Keith Curtis and Noel Kilbride joined the group in 1983. Initially signing to the Ron Johnson label, debut EP Loudhailer Songs put them at the forefront of a wave of Beefheart-influenced bands that emerged in the mid-1980's. Canadian deathcore band from Montréal. Blind Witness is formed by Johnathan Cabana on Vocals, Pierre-Luc Desroches on Guitar, Nicolas Cazzaro on Bass, Kevin Desroches on Drums and Maxime Lacroix on Guitar and back vocals. The band started out in 2004 and released their first demo in August 2005. They started touring in Canada in January 2006 and continued touring until August 2007, after which they went on to record their first EP.
