Nightcore consists of Thomas S. Nilsen and Steffen Ojala Søderholm from Norway, Alta. Mixing techno/dance music into faster and more happier sounds, their name, 'Nightcore', means that they are the core of the night, so listeners will dance all night long. They first started making music with Dance eJay 2/3 for a school project; they got a 4+ on our first single, and 6 on the whole album, called 'Energized'. After this, they understood that they couldn't come far with making music in Dance eJay so they began mixing music with their own personal, top secret program. Their next album...

Between their Fool's Gold originals and their enviably deep remixography, the duo have passed on a "signature sound" to craft an unpredictable approach that's as cerebral as it is speaker-decimating. Whether crafting epic, nine minute Salem remixes or raving out with their own anthemic tracks like “Revolting Joks” and “Baggy Bottom Boys,” Toronto duo Jokers Of The Scene have...
There are two artists with this name: a Swedish metal band and an American electronic musician. Obscene was an obscure death/doom metal band from Sweden, having formed in 1990, and only releasing a single demo in the same year, entitled "Grotesque Experience". Obscene play a progressively structured form of Death Metal, building an immense atmosphere, whilst incorporating entrancing, spooky, and downright eerie riffs. There are also two other bands under the same name, a grind/death Obscene from Finland, who released their 1992 demo "Greed', then changed their name to Obfuscation, and another Swedish Obscene, who plays brutal death metal. ---------------------------------------------------...
Broken Social Scene is an indie rock group formed in 1999 in Toronto, Canada. The band's core members were Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning. This duo recorded and released the band's ambient debut album Feel Good Lost, in 2001, with contributions from Ohad Benchetrit (also known as Years), Evan Cranley, Leslie Feist, Justin Peroff, Bill Priddle, and Charles Spearin. All of these musicians would emerge as key members of Broken Social Scene in future endeavors. After the release of Feel Good Lost (an almost entirely instrumental album), Drew and Canning decided to transition the band into a more energetic sound...
