Blue Murder were a melodic heavy metal band from England, founded by ex-Whitesnake guitarist John Sykes. Upon Sykes' firing from Whitesnake, he set out to create a similar sounding bluesy hard rock band. They released two studio albums and one live album before breaking up in 1994.
Ray Gillen, who'd previously sang for Black Sabbath and later for Badlands, sang for an early version of Blue Murder, and reportedly the band recorded demos with him, but no albums. Another interesting thing to note is that John Sykes was himself once in a different band also called Badlands. Reportedly, drummer Cozy...
My Personal Murderer is an Odessa, Ukraine band, led by musician / composer Yevgen Chebotarenko (vocals, keys, guitars), with members including Yuriy Kononov (drums) and Maxim Kovalchuk (bass)
The mixture of influences from 80's music idols in its sound and cult surreal movies in its atmosphere makes My Personal Murderer a unique act that sounds perfectly for todays doomed youth. MPM started back in 2009 with the album "Streets Of Sheryl" that had a deep cold sound and atmosphere of Black Sea. In September 2011 My Personal Murderer released their second studio album named 'Sisters Loving Brothers', a perfect longplay...

In 2006, Professor Murder released Professor Murder Rides the Subway, their debut EP on Kanine Records. Recorded at Brothers Studio with brothers Joshua Ryan, formerly a techno producer, and Eric Emm, formerly of Don Caballero, the album synthesizes Professor Murder's varied influences in a manner that sounds simultaneously cohesive and refreshingly new.
Fans of post punk, dancehall, go-go, dub and techno will find familiar elements throughout these songs, as well as new sounds and rhythms. While the album has drawn comparisons to contemporaries such as Tussle, LCD Soundsystem, and Liars, as well as to older post-punk bands such as Liquid...
