Nightwish, Finlandiyalı müzik grubudur. 1996 yılında Kitee’de kurulmuş olan grup; 1997-2001 yılları arasındaki çalışmalarında power metal türünün örneklerini verirken, 2002 ve sonrası albümlerde müziğine senfoniyi de katarak sonradan senfonik power metal olarak anılacak türe öncülük etmiştir.
