New Order ist eine englische New-Wave-Band und einer der Wegbereiter der Manchester-Szene. Die Band trat die Nachfolge von Joy Division an, deren Mitglieder damals vereinbart hatten, nicht mehr unter diesem Namen aufzutreten, sollte ein Mitglied die Band verlassen.
