Hariprasad Chaurasia (Hariprasād Caurasiyā - geborenam 1. Juli 1938 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh) ist ein indischer Meister der Bansuriflöte. Er war als Komponist für mehrere Filmmusiken und Soundtracks verantwortlich. Sein Vater war ein Ringer, seine Mutter starb als er vier Jahre alt war. Er begann mit dem Erlernen der Vokalmusik im Alter von 15 Jahren bei seinem Nachbarn Pt. Rajaram. Später wechselte er zur Flöte unter der Leitung von Pt. Bholanath von Varanasi.
