Dub Syndicate ist eine britische Dub-Band. Sie ist seit 15 Jahren eine feste Größe in der Dub-Szene. Gegründet wurde sie von dem Schlagzeuger Lincoln "Style" Scott von den Roots Radics und Adrian Sherwood, dem Besitzer des Dub-Labels ON-U Sound Records. Alien Crime Syndicate (1997–2005) were an American alternative rock group formed by Joe Reineke in San Francisco, California before relocating to Seattle, Washington after the collapse of his previous band The Meices. The group's main lineup consisted of Reineke, bassist Jeff Rouse (Rhino Humpers) and Nabil Ayers with a number of guitarists, Jason Krevey, Mike Squires and Mike Davis, contributing and performing with the band over the years. Shibuya Syndicate was officially born in 2006. The band sound included many Electro-House-Acid-Breakbeat influences. After a "testing" period, currently almost finished, the band has decided to grow towards different styles and sounds, in order to learn the "language" and the power of Electro Music.
