Cocoa Tea, eigentlich Calvin George Scott, (* 3. September 1959 in Kingston, Jamaika) ist ein jamaikanischer Reggae- und Dancehall-Sänger. Cocoa Tea begann seine Karriere als Jugendlicher im Kirchen- und Schulchor, mit dem er 1974 das Lied Searching In The Hills aufnahm. Er arbeitete für etwa fünf Jahre als Jockey beim Pferderennen und als Fischer. 1983 traf er auf den Produzenten Henry 'Junjo' Lawes, der mit ihm gemeinsam seine ersten Hitsingles Rocking Dolly and I Lost My Sonia aufnahm. 1985 folgte das erste Album Wha Them A Go Do, Can't Stop Cocoa Tea. Bis 1988 folgten drei weniger bekannte Alben bevor...

Cocoanut Groove is the solo project of ex-The Tidy Ups member Olov Antonsson, who began making recordings under that name in the summer of 2007. Joined on his first recordings by Calle Thoor, Mattias Malm, Ivar Lantz, Frida Danielsson, Antonsson formulated sleek, drowsy, mournful indie pop sound reminiscent of the Clientele and rooted in the sweet psychedelia of the Zombies and Mortimer.
