Voon sind eine Ambient-Post-Hardcore Band aus Chemnitz. Zum größten Teil bestehend aus Mitgliedern von Of Quiet Walls begannen sie im Sommer 2010 ihre eigene Vorstellung von Post-Hardcore zu entwickeln. Durch einen weiteren Gitarristen verstärkt sind sie nun bereit, Shows zu spielen. Ihre selbst aufgenomme Demo-EP "The Last Tide" ist mittlerweile fertig und kann auf Facebook, Last.FM und Myspace angehört werden. Village of Savoonga was founded 1991 in Weilheim, Germany by Markus Acher (The Notwist) and Christoph Merk (Kollaps label) with the aim "to record noise". As Wolfgang Petters (Hausmusik label) had a 4 track recorder and cooked for both of them he was quickly accepted as a new band member. Also Micha Acher and Christoph Brandner perform with Villaga of Savoonga. .
